The Hawkesbury Islamic Cultural Center (HICC) provide various services to the community:
- Offer Muslim citizens of the Hawkesbury and surrounding areas an Islamic spiritual and socio-cultural environment, in harmony with Canadian society.
- Uphold the values of Islamic ethics, including respect, tolerance, solidarity and human rights.
- Consolidate the values of Islam among the Muslims of Hawkesbury and its surrounding areas, in a well-organized framework to practice their faith.
- Promote interfaith and cultural exchanges and dialogue between citizens of the Muslim faith and all citizens of other faiths who make up Canadian society.
- Provide a suitable place for the organization and holding of Muslim prayers.
- Announce the dates of Islamic holidays.
- Offer Muslim citizens of Hawkesbury and surrounding areas a range of recreational, social and educational activities in harmony with the values of Islam.
- Fight against poverty and isolation by encouraging solidarity with the Muslim faith, mainly those living in a precarious situation.
- Encourage solidarity with citizens who are not of the Muslim faith, particularly those living in a precarious situation.
Encourage volunteerism in collaboration with other Canadian organizations and associations. - Celebrate Islamic holidays.
- Offer language courses and courses on the Islamic religion.
